BlockBeats News, May 5, Crypto.com announced that its Chief Marketing Officer Steven Kalifowitz will officially step down on June 30, and will then transition to serving as a CEO advisor to the company.

During nearly six years in his position, Kalifowitz led the company’s brand marketing and partnership investments of more than $1 billion, helping Crypto.com grow from a trading app into a globally recognized crypto brand. This includes a $700 million, 20-year stadium naming rights partnership (Crypto.com Arena), as well as a $100 million advertising and marketing campaign in collaboration with Matt Damon.

In addition, the company has also reached high-visibility collaborations with Formula 1, UFC, and others. This personnel change marks a phased adjustment to Crypto.com’s brand strategy.
