Last day of the May Day holiday, coinciding with the closing of the 139th Canton Fair, a reporter learned from Baiyun Border Inspection Station that since this Canton Fair, as of 12:00 a.m. on May 5th, Baiyun Airport port has facilitated over 1.14 million inbound and outbound travelers, a year-on-year increase of 14.5%. Foreign trade merchants have become the main force driving the growth in port passenger flow, with more than 540k foreigners entering and leaving the port, a 20.8% increase year-on-year, setting a new record for port passenger flow during the Canton Fair period.
