Last week, I took a ride-hailing order, and the driver was a middle-aged man who was drunk.

As soon as I got in the car, he started crying, saying the company had gone bankrupt, his wife wanted a divorce, and he couldn't pay his mortgage.
I comforted him with a few words, and he suddenly asked me, "Beautiful lady, how much can you earn in a month doing ride-hailing?"
I said, "Eight or nine thousand, depending on the number of orders."
He was silent for a moment and then said, "I graduated from Tsinghua with an MBA, and my previous annual salary was 1.2 million."
I thought he was bragging.
But then he took out his phone to show me.
