Palantir's Q1 Revenue Soars 85%, Achieves 145% in 'Rule of 40' Compared to Nvidia

According to monitoring by Dongcha Beating, data analytics and AI software company Palantir has released its financial report for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026. Due to accelerated demand in the U.S. market, its total revenue for the quarter reached $1.633 billion, a year-on-year increase of 85%, marking the highest growth rate in the company’s history. Notably, core U.S. commercial revenue surged by 133% year-on-year. In the ‘Rule of 40’ metric, which measures the combined performance of growth and profitability for software companies, Palantir’s score skyrocketed to 145% this quarter. CEO Alex Karp stated that this achievement breaks the norm, noting that currently only AI infrastructure giants like Nvidia, Micron, and SK Hynix can match it. Based on the strong performance in the first quarter, Palantir has significantly raised its guidance for the full year of 2026, expecting total revenue to reach between $7.65 billion and $7.662 billion, with an overall expected growth rate adjusted to 71%, and a further increase in expected growth rate for U.S. commercial revenue to over 120%. This quarter, the company’s GAAP net profit reached $871 million, with a profit margin of 53%.
