During the May Day holiday, the national railway system transported over 100 million passengers in total.
According to reporters from China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., on May 4th, the national railway transported 20.38M passengers. Since the start of the May Day holiday transportation on April 29th, the total number of passengers transported by the national railway has reached 117M, with transportation safety stable and orderly. On May 5th, the return passenger flow continued to rise, and the national railway is expected to send 23 million passengers, with plans to add 2,225 passenger trains. (CCTV News)
