Over the past couple of days, the on-chain data keeps sort of “stalling,” and it’s not just my network being spotty (okay, maybe a bit)—more like the indexers/Subgraphs and the RPCs in the background are running out of breath… When you open a bunch of addresses, pools, and historical records, you’re basically urging them to read the chain, organize it, and then feed it back into the query interface; once the RPC rate limits or the indexer hasn’t caught up to the latest blocks, you get the illusion of “I just checked and it wasn’t like this,” and it’s even more obvious when the order book gets active.

No wonder everyone now casually says “wait for confirmation.” Not long ago, there was a cross-chain bridge that was stolen, and an oracle reported some wildly off price—who would dare to rush in based on the data from just the first glance? Anyway, my current approach is pretty old-school: for the same thing, I verify it against at least two RPCs and two sets of data sources. If it’s running a bit behind, I just assume it’s queued up, and I add a little to my position first—I’m in no hurry to fill the cup to the brim and make it stronger. That’s it for now.
