I find that what I can't handle the most isn't earning less, but the floating loss hanging there unmoving, which automatically starts to add drama in my mind: Should I add more? Should I cut? Clearly, during the day I tell others "it's just fluctuations," but when I lie down at night, I toss and turn.

Floating gains are actually easier to let go of; maybe subconsciously I always feel "this isn't mine," while floating losses are like debts, constantly reminding you.

Recently, the staking/sharing safety approach also feels quite similar... or rather...: like LEGO blocks stacking higher and higher, or like nested dolls becoming more and more unsettling as you take them apart.
The compounded returns sound great, but thinking about the risks stacking up too, the anxiety from floating losses is even easier to amplify.
Anyway, I now prefer to slow down, wait for the on-chain hype to cool off before acting, because sleep is more valuable.
