Citi hires Barclays' Potts to head shareholder advisory arm
Citigroup has appointed James Potts of Barclays to lead its shareholder advisory and activism arm. Potts will transition from his role as head of corporate mergers and acquisitions for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Barclays, bringing nearly two decades of experience to Citi. Based in London, he will cover a wide geographical area, assisting clients with shareholder activities and reporting to Citi’s regional mergers heads.
