Golden Finance reports that on May 5th, local time, on May 4th, U.S. President Trump complained at an event at the White House that a poll shows only 32% of Americans support a war with Iran, and he criticized this poll data as “fake.” A poll released by Reuters and Ipsos Group on April 28th showed that Trump’s approval rating dropped from 36% in March to 34%, the lowest level since he began his second term as president. Reuters reported that the main reason for the decline in Trump’s approval rating was growing public dissatisfaction with his handling of the cost of living issues and his escalation of military action against Iran.
