Lately, I’ve been getting numb from constantly refreshing on-chain data, but wallet security reminded me of something instead: don’t take shortcuts with your mnemonic phrases—don’t store them in a cloud drive or in chat logs. Writing them down on paper and tucking them into a drawer is better than screenshots. And don’t treat signature authorization like “just click to confirm.” Some sites are basically putting “here, give me your keys” right in plain sight… These days I keep mostly small amounts in a hot wallet, and keep larger funds in cold storage. If I can revoke authorization, I revoke it—I’d rather deal with the hassle.

Memes and celebrity call-outs are getting hot again, and attention shifts as fast as tides. The old players’ “don’t take the last baton” sounds a bit like nagging, but it’s also true. Anyway, my biggest fear isn’t even losing money—it’s waking up one day to find my assets are gone, and not knowing which little mistake I made when I clicked something. That’s it for now.
