Every time I get the itch to chase a rally, I stop and ask myself: What new information did I actually see this time, or is it just the candlestick chart pushing my emotions up? To put it simply, information makes me brave enough to hold, while emotions only make me more anxious, eventually turning into excuses for my position management.
Recently, NFT discussions about royalties, creator income, and secondary liquidity have been quite lively. But I see the core of these debates as the same: everyone thinks they are standing on "reason," but in reality, it's mostly their own interests and emotions driving them.
My current quick fix is: if I feel like impulsively placing an order, I first take a screenshot and save it… wait ten minutes before looking again, and many times I no longer want to chase. Anyway, I’ll just do it like this for now.
