Bitcoin Tops $80,000 as Inflation Hedge Thesis Gains Traction

Bitcoin rose 19% in just over a month and topped $80,000 on Monday even as oil stayed above $100 and inflation signals strengthened. Since March, the 11 U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs have attracted $4.45 billion, supporting the view that some investors are treating bitcoin as an inflation hedge.
