The more I look into it, the more I feel that the core of wallet security comes down to one word: slow.

Take a little more time to copy your seed phrase—don’t screenshot it, don’t store it in a cloud drive. Write two copies by hand and keep them in different places. It’s a hassle, but it really works.
Wait a half-step longer before you click to sign. When you see words like “infinite authorization,” “change permissions,” or “transfer assets,” pause first.
And honestly, I’d rather miss an airdrop than wake up in the middle of the night to yell at myself.
Phishing sites are even worse: don’t click links at random, and take a couple extra looks at the domain name. If a pop-up urges you to “Connect Immediately” or “Sign Now,” it’s basically a scam in most cases.
Now developers are pretty excited about modularization and the DAO layer, and it’s normal for users to be confused—but no matter how the story changes, it always comes back to the same line: Don’t rush. Slow down. Secure your wallet first, and then talk about ecosystem maturity.
