Lately I keep seeing all sorts of terms like data availability, ordering, finality, and a bunch of other nouns—it’s giving me a headache… I’ll stick to one main thread: at the moment I transfer or interact, is the data truly “publicly and properly posted,” will the order be tampered with or have someone cut in and change it, and in the end can it be considered valid without rolling back. Basically, it comes down to whether this chain is actually reliable—don’t just look at TPS and the narratives.
AI agents and automated trading are also pretty hot, but the more automatic it gets, the more I’m afraid of opening up permissions too much… some people are pitching “fully automatic sit-back-and-earn,” while others obsess over security details—this is the difference.
Personally, I trust data more. Intuition can drift, but at least on-chain things can be checked to see what actually happened. In practice, it’s still about layered positions—do less adjusting, don’t make frequent changes, and just wait slowly; don’t rush.
