The White House plans to implement review before AI model releases
The Trump administration is considering issuing an executive order to establish an artificial intelligence task force aimed at strengthening regulation of this emerging technology. One proposal calls for implementing a government review process for new AI models. The report states that White House officials briefed executives from Anthropic, Google’s parent company Alphabet, and OpenAI on some of the proposed plans during a meeting last week. (First Financial)
