Lending and borrowing are truly a line of liquidation—staring at it for too long really makes people anxious... I now take three fixed actions when approaching the red line: first, take a screenshot of my position and collateral to keep a record (afraid of my brain short-circuiting), then repay a little of what I can, even if not much, mainly to calm my heartbeat; then turn off the extra authorizations and the layer of recurring borrowing to avoid stacking buffs on myself. The most critical part is during on-chain congestion, when miners/validators eat up that slice + MEV front-running, and the transaction order is completely unpredictable. Retail investors' complaints are not without reason—I just assume "you think you can top up your position, but that's not necessarily the case." I no longer believe in "there's still time to slowly adjust"; anyway, I now prefer to withdraw a little early, even if I miss the airdrop snapshot, because being liquidated is even worse.
