Recently I found myself doing everything while "waiting"… waiting for transfer confirmations, waiting for blocks to be mined on the chain, waiting for the market to rebound, and more importantly, waiting to figure out who to trust with my small amount of stablecoins. To be honest, de-pegging is often not a accounting issue, but a panic run caused by a bank run mentality—everyone simultaneously wants to withdraw, and the less transparency there is, the more anxious people become. I also glance at reserve reports, but after reading them, I just feel at ease; when rumors start flying, people's reactions are faster than their brains.
Lately, hardware wallets being out of stock is a pretty real indicator of sentiment; phishing links are also on the rise, and the more chaotic it gets, the more people take advantage of the chaos. Anyway, my current habit is: wait for confirmation first, then click links, then transfer large amounts. Slowing down a bit is okay—at least I won't send myself off just because I'm in a hurry. That’s it for now.
