Recently, this wave of attention economy really treats people like spinning tops,

Whenever a new hot topic comes up, I get itchy to chase it,
But most of the time, I end up getting a long upper shadow and learning my lesson…
Honestly, don’t fall in love with “hotness,” because it will just leave you at the peak.
My approach is a bit cowardly: when I see something suddenly trending all over the internet,
I first force myself to wait for two candlesticks, hold down the button,
If I want to act, I only use the smallest position size, and set my stop-loss faster than my face.

Airdrop season is the same,
Task platforms are getting stricter with anti-witchcraft measures,
The points system directly turns the degens into clock-in workers,
Watching it makes me tired.
Anyway, I now treat “whether it can be sustained” as the first filter:
Projects without cash flow or signs of user growth,
No matter how many points they give, it’s just pie in the sky.
There are many tutorials, but I only like to watch those that discuss failure cases,
How they got cut, and review the lessons learned,
At least it helps me wake up before the next needle pricks.
