According to CriptoNoticias, at least 24 fake tokens of the official Western Union stablecoin U.S. Dollar Payment Token (USDPT) have appeared on the Solana network. DEXTools data shows that the related counterfeit tokens are present on platforms such as Pump fun, Raydium LaunchLab, and others, with some tokens being newly created and some records traceable back to six months ago. The report states that some fake tokens have surged approximately 100% in 24 hours, but there is a Rug Pull risk associated with these assets, as issuers may suddenly withdraw liquidity, causing the price to drop to zero.
