Recently, when my hands itch to chase the rally, I always pause for ten seconds first and ask myself: Is this position driven by "information" or by "emotion"? Frankly, people who truly have information won't get excited only at the hottest point of the candlestick chart; most likely, I just saw a few words in the group chat like "interest rate cut expectations" or "the US dollar index rises and falls with risk assets" and started imagining the plot... then my hand moves faster than my brain.

Now I believe more in "habit" rather than "talent": every time I want to add to my position, I first write down a reason. If it can be backed by data, on-chain activity, or governance progress, I consider it information; if I can only write "fear of missing out," I treat it as emotion, cut the order in half, or even do nothing. Anyway, those who can survive long-term often rely on this small habit to pull themselves out of FOMO.
