Last night, I saw the funding rate spike to an absurd level again, and a bunch of people in the group were shouting "We must push this wave," I almost clicked the buy button but then pulled back... In such extreme times, I usually have only two options: either take the opposite side and eat the emotion, or just stay out and let it play itself out. Later, I realized that the easiest way for me to lose money is actually those "I'm not greedy, just riding the wave a little" situations—especially when meme coins or celebrities make a noise, attention shifts wildly, and seasoned players are genuinely warning not to take the last step. Today, I’m going to reduce my position size first, even if it means missing out, I don’t want to work for the fee rate anymore.
