These past few days, I've been pushed around again by social mining/points, checking in, sharing, joining groups for check-ins, badges dinging and lighting up, and my mood dinging along... But honestly, it's just trading time for a "potentially useful" identity. The funny thing is, everyone complains about it, but they're faster than anyone else; what's frustrating is that I can't help but click a couple of times too.

Recently, the "compounded profits" of staking and shared security has sparked more debate. Whether it's a nested doll or not, I won't judge for now. Anyway, my simple rule now is: automate what can be automated, and treat what can't be automated as noise. Points don't equal assets, and identity doesn't equal a moat. Don't spend a whole day just for a badge; when I review, it's all just fragments. That's it for now.
