I just came across a ranking of the net worth of the world's biggest actors, and it surprised me a bit. Jami Gertz at the top with $3 billion, Brock Pierce with $2 billion – the latter is probably that guy from the crypto world, right? But then we have traditional Hollywood: Seinfeld, Dwayne Johnson, Tom Cruise, all with hundreds of millions.

What caught my interest is Denzel Washington – his wealth is estimated at $280 million, giving him a solid position among top actors. It shows that even without being at the top of the list, a long career in film really pays off. Jackie Chan, Keanu Reeves, Brad Pitt – all have hundreds of millions.

It's nice to look at these numbers, but I wonder how much of this is actual wealth, and how much is just estimates. Some like Leonardo DiCaprio or Robert Downey Jr. have $300 million – that's serious money. I wonder if these numbers will change in the coming years?
