Lately, I've been having trouble sleeping again because of "floating losses." Even though my position isn't large, I analyze a bunch during the day with a clear head, but at night my mind automatically magnifies that red number by ten times... Unrealized gains are actually quite mild, like a few ice cubes floating in a glass, looking pretty refreshing but not burning the mouth or leaving a taste; unrealized losses are different, like knocking off a small piece from the rim of a glass, always wanting to touch it, the more I touch, the more uncomfortable I feel. Basically, it's loss aversion, right? The loss feels like my brain is telling me "I did something wrong."

A couple of days ago, I was a bit scared: I almost impulsively engaged in on-chain operations over a dispute in the group about privacy coins/mixing compliance. Luckily, I took another look at the path and risk warnings, and I stopped myself... Anyway, my current approach is: if I can sleep, I won't force my position; even if I research and prepare, I allow myself not to place an order. That's how I’m doing it for now.
