Just now I saw people chasing after memes and celebrities, shouting and rushing in, and I was a bit speechless... Cross-chain stuff on the surface just takes a click, but underneath it's all about trust chains. Whether it's an IBC/message passing, or bridges, you trust not only the chain itself but also the relayer/relayer to relay messages correctly, trust that the light client/validation logic isn't messed up, trust that the other chain won't roll back, trust multi-signature/oracles/guardians won't suddenly go offline, and even trust that the front end didn't just give you a different receiving address. To put it simply, what’s crossing isn't assets, but a string of "Will others be honest?" I just turned off the quick cross-chain button, preferring to be slower, at least not to be the last link.
