North Korea Denies Crypto Theft Claims as DPRK-Linked Losses Hit $577M

North Korea rejected allegations of state-sponsored crypto theft as TRM Labs said DPRK-linked actors stole about $577 million in the first four months of 2026. TRM said those losses accounted for 76% of global crypto hack losses over the period, driven by the $292 million KelpDAO exploit and the $285 million Drift Protocol attack.
