IRGC Warns Non-Compliant Shipping in Strait of Hormuz Faces Forced Interception

Sardar Hossein Mouhabi said there has been no change in Strait of Hormuz management procedures and warned that vessels violating Revolutionary Guard Navy protocols will face forced interception. Mouhabi said civilian and commercial shipping remains safe if vessels follow designated routes, transportation passage protocols, and coordination requirements. Mouhabi also urged shipping companies and transport insurance institutions to follow notices issued by the Revolutionary Guard.
