South Korea FIU to Meet Exchanges on 10 Million Won Transaction Reporting Proposal

South Korea’s Financial Intelligence Unit will meet crypto exchanges after May 11 to discuss proposed amendments that would treat transactions above 10 million won with overseas operators and private wallets as suspicious. The legislative notice period for the amendments ends on May 11. The talks aim to address exchange concerns about excessive regulation and seek a mutually acceptable solution.
