Aave Seeks to Lift Court Freeze on $73M ETH Recovered After Kelp DAO Exploit

Aave asked a federal court to lift a freeze on about $73 million in ETH recovered after last month’s Kelp DAO exploit. The May 1 order blocks Arbitrum DAO from moving 30,766 ETH as plaintiffs tied to older terrorism judgments against North Korea seek the funds as restitution. Aave said the Lazarus Group link is unproven and asked the court to vacate the restraining notice or require a bond of at least $300 million.
