CoinWorld News reports that U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said that Iran’s attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz and the United Arab Emirates have “undoubtedly” violated the ceasefire agreement. He called on the United States to carry out a “large-scale, strong, costly, and swift” military retaliation against Iran in order to weaken its capabilities and deter interference with freedom of navigation. He noted that the next steps will be decided by Trump, including whether to continue nuclear talks with Tehran. Graham also said, “Today’s actions are inconsistent with a regime that hopes to resolve issues through diplomacy.”
