Federal Reserve's Williams: The risks to the Fed's dual mandate have all increased

Golden Finance reports that on May 5th, Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Williams stated that U.S. monetary policy remains well-positioned to respond to uncertain economic conditions, and it is currently unclear how the Iran war will impact the U.S. economy. He also mentioned that the risks to the Federal Reserve’s dual mandate have increased. The economy is facing unusual circumstances.
