The blockchain has been congested again these days. I was staring at the transaction in my wallet, circling around, and suddenly realized that many people haven't actually seen the process of their transaction "queuing" in the mempool: when you click send, it’s just received by the node first, thrown into a pending pool waiting for miners/validators to pick it up; during a traffic jam, everyone starts increasing their fees to jump the queue, and if your fee isn’t high enough, you might get left behind or even expire/ be replaced. What's more annoying is that sometimes you think the transaction failed and resend it, only to find two transactions fighting each other… Anyway, the experience feels quite mystical. Recently, modularization and the DA layer are being discussed with developers looking excited, but users are even more confused: you can break down the underlying layers however you want, but ultimately, what’s stuck is still “when will my transaction be on the chain.” Next time, I might check the pending transactions on the block explorer first, and if it’s urgent, slightly increase the fee; if not, just wait patiently. How do you usually handle this kind of congestion?
