Lately I've been debating whether to go with L2 or the mainnet, honestly it's a tug-of-war between gas fees and user experience. The mainnet is expensive but feels more secure, while L2 is cheaper and smoother, but just thinking about cross-chain/bridge, withdrawals, and a few steps makes me anxious. One shaky hand and I want to leverage "to gamble and earn back the fees"... I’m forcing myself to stop now: if it can be done on L2, don’t go to the mainnet; only do large transactions or need security on the mainnet. Anyway, less hassle.

Recently, the group has been arguing about privacy coins, coin mixing, and the boundaries of compliance, and it’s quite divided. Seeing that, I don’t want to move funds back and forth anymore; the more complex, the easier it is to go wrong. I see complexity as an enemy: if it can be done in one step, don’t do it in two. For now, that’s how I’ll proceed—slowly curb impulsiveness.
