I find myself really more sensitive to unrealized losses… When I’m floating profits, I can still pretend to be calm and watch videos, but when I’m floating losses, I start imagining “Will it go to zero,” and the more I think about it, the more I can’t sleep. Honestly, I default to thinking that the profits I make are just luck, and the losses feel like they’re being taken out of my pocket, so my mindset just blows up.
Last night, I was also curious and checked on the blockchain, and a certain contract address kept transferring small amounts in and out (like 0.3, 0.5), which made me even more anxious: Is someone running early? But then I looked again and there was nothing major, just me scaring myself.
Recently, the economic collapse of chain games feels pretty similar: inflation hits, studios start pumping out tokens like crazy, coin prices spiral downward, everyone clearly understands the logic, but that one loss just feels especially sharp… Anyway, I only dare to try small positions now, FOMO is FOMO, at least I won’t lose sleep over it.
