The SEC reportedly delayed 24 prediction market ETFs from Bitwise, Roundhill, and GraniteShares before they were set to launch this week. The proposed funds would track outcomes tied to the 2028 U.S. election, tech-sector layoffs, and recession odds. Two sources familiar with the regulator’s plans said the SEC stopped the normal 75-day effectiveness clock for extra review of how these products fit existing securities laws.
