CoinWorld News: On May 4, Pierre Karakis, chairman of the Eurogroup, said in response to the tariff threats previously issued by U.S. President Trump that Europe is ready to deal with them. Trump had said that he would impose an additional 25% tariff on cars and trucks exported from the EU to the U.S. Karakis pointed out that dialogue is always the first choice. He said, “We hope to be a predictable partner in the international economy, and we believe in transatlantic relations. But if anything deviates from the consensus we have reached, all options are on the table.”
