Lately, I've been pushed around by all kinds of social mining/points systems, constantly posting, interacting, checking in, and hanging up my identity... I’m starting to understand now: badges are really not valuable; what’s valuable is that after you empty your attention and time, you still think you're "strategically positioning." Lowering my expectations has actually made things easier—if I can get it, I take it; if I can't, so be it. Don’t turn yourself into a machine just for a few lines of points.

Honestly, points are just a way to segment the crowd: those with free time rush to the front, while those without are passively providing liquidity. Recently, the NFT royalty debate has been quite heated, and it’s actually quite similar—creators want ongoing income, but traders dislike the friction that affects liquidity. Both sides are reasonable, but in the end, the ones who pay the price are often the least willing to spend time.

What I care more about now is: what concrete rights can this identity actually exchange for? If I don’t understand, I won’t chase it; I’d rather save my energy for observing the “water ripples” than chasing badges.
