Others think that playing with L2 is just “saving gas so much that it’s effortless—one click and it’s done.” In reality, I’m just an ordinary person and I often get stuck at that bridge step: I save on on-chain fees, but then I end up waiting for confirmations and switching back and forth, and my mindset gets worn down first… These days I’m just going with the flow: for daily small amounts and frequent operations, I’m fine just dropping L2, as long as the experience feels smooth; if I truly plan to hold for the long term, or I just don’t want to mess with it, then I’ll go straight to the mainnet once—sure, it costs more, but at least I feel at ease. Recently, I’ve also seen certain regions add taxes and tighten then relax compliance at times, while the expectations for deposits and withdrawals are like a roller coaster—so I’m even less willing to treat “a money-saving plan” as a belief. Anyway, you can laugh, but don’t treat your position size like a joke—first, write up your risk control, then we’ll talk.
