Honestly, I've been very bored these days even with the internet available, so I decided to look for multiplayer games with friends on mobile to pass the time in an enjoyable way. It turned out there are many options I discovered that were better than I expected!
The first game I played was Snakes and Ladders, I mean from childhood days but now it's on the phone and you can play with anyone around the world. The idea is simple: move your piece based on dice rolls and try to reach the end before your opponent, but beware of other players because they can send you back to the start. The competitive spirit is really fun!
Then I tried billiards, and that was a real surprise. Instead of going to arcades, you can challenge your friends from home and climb the rankings even globally. The skills needed here are real and not easy, so playing against a strong opponent can be frustrating but fun!
There's another game called Volley Hangout, a simplified version of volleyball suitable for all ages. The nice thing is you can challenge those around you via Bluetooth only, and it features different characters unlocked by the points you collect. There's also a training mode against the computer if you want to improve your skills.
The last game I tried was Glow Hockey 2, which is a simplified hockey game. It requires only two players on the same device, and the idea is to score more goals than your opponent. It's an old game but still loved by many, especially if you play it with family or friends.
In the end, multiplayer games with friends on mobile don't need fancy graphics to be fun. The important thing is that they have a real spirit of competition and challenge, and you can play them from anywhere easily. If you're like I was—bored—try one of these games and see for yourself!
