Recently, I've seen a bunch of PFPs claiming to be members, brands, or communities, talking as if buying into them instantly grants access to the "upper circle."

I'm always a step behind, but I tend to look on-chain first: Is the money just a fleeting wind that gets pulled out quickly, or are people genuinely adding to their positions and continuously using their rights?
Honestly, many so-called memberships are just short-term attention wrappers; once the hype fades, all that's left are avatar frames.

Social mining, fan tokens, that "attention equals mining" concept sounds appealing, but I always feel attention is more like consumables, not a mine.
If you don't keep producing, you'll run out of supply, and if the platform changes the rules, it's all pointless.

Recently, I’ve scaled back my goals: instead of chasing the "next blue chip," I pick a project I genuinely want to keep my avatar on long-term and occasionally use its rights, observing slowly.
This way, I can stick with it without getting itchy to jump ship.
For now, that's it.
