Lately, I've been noticing that on-chain data is a bit "slow to keep up," which made me remember: you think you're watching the blocks, but often you're actually just monitoring the mood of nodes/RPCs/indexers... For the same transaction, some people are already shouting "it's on the chain," while I'm still stuck in the old state, clicking refresh as if begging it to grow up faster. Honestly, the "truth on the chain" also depends on these underlying infrastructures translating it; if one part is congested, restarted, or lagging behind a few blocks, what you see might just be yesterday's buzz.

Coincidentally, that mainstream public chain is about to undergo an upgrade for maintenance, and everyone in the group is speculating whether the ecosystem will migrate. I think there's no need to jump to conclusions just yet; many "migration signs" might just be index lag, RPC glitches, or browser delays, all sounding very convincing but not necessarily true... Anyway, I'm still the same as always—when my emotions heat up, I get itchy hands, but I'm more afraid of chasing illusions. As for who will move and who won't after the upgrade, we might need a few more days to see clearly.
