Abstract generation in progress

On April 28, CNBC reported that top researchers are increasingly leaving large tech companies to start their own AI firms. Against the backdrop of massive investments in the artificial intelligence sector, many emerging startups have raised hundreds of millions of dollars within months of their establishment, as investors have high hopes for new approaches to model architecture. One investor noted that the competition among large AI labs for dominance has created opportunities for smaller, more agile companies. Previously, David Silver, a former researcher at Google’s DeepMind, announced that his startup, Ineffable Intelligence, has completed a record-breaking $1.1 billion seed funding round just months after its founding. Another former DeepMind employee, Tim Rocktashel, is reportedly raising up to $1 billion for his new company, Recursive Superintelligence.
