Many people talk about AI x Crypto, and the most discussed topics are models, agents, and application layers. But if you carefully examine the technical structure, you'll find that what truly determines the industry's ceiling is actually the infrastructure.
AI systems require continuous data input, computing power, and stable storage, while traditional blockchain architectures are mainly designed for financial transactions. This structure is not ideal for handling high-frequency calculations and large-scale data.
That's also why I have been paying close attention to @0G_labs.
0G's design philosophy is very clear: it aims to build a native AI modular infrastructure network, not just a high-performance chain. The entire system includes a specially optimized data availability layer, a distributed storage network, and a decentralized computing network, allowing AI applications to run within the same ecosystem.
The value of this structure is very evident in the development experience. In the past, developers who wanted to combine AI and blockchain had to rely on cloud computing power, databases, and on-chain protocols simultaneously, making the system very complex.
As computing, storage, and data gradually become networked, developers can build complete applications on the same infrastructure.
If this architecture matures, the core applications on the chain in the future are likely to be more than just financial protocols—they could be continuously running AI systems. In a sense, 0G is redefining the underlying structure of blockchain for the AI era.
