I discovered a very magical phenomenon.

My friend's phone card used in Europe is non-real-name verified, and so far, they haven't received a single scam call.
The phone cards used domestically are from China Mobile and China Telecom, and after my friend returned to China, they received all kinds of nuisance calls, insurance sales, tea sales, real estate sales, and so on.
I remember last year when I was in Shanghai, I received a scam call that scared me half to death, accurately stating my name, ID number, and the last four digits of my bank card.
I've been wondering how exactly this information was leaked? Shouldn't the real-name verification protect me?
