Odaily Planet Daily News: Haun Ventures, a venture capital firm founded by former a16z general partner and U.S. federal prosecutor Katie Haun, has completed a new fundraising round with a total size of $1 billion. This round of funding is split into about $500 million each for early-stage and late-stage funds, which will mainly be directed toward cryptocurrency and blockchain startups over the next 2 to 3 years, while further expanding into cross-sector tracks such as AI agents (AI Agents), fintech, and alternative assets. The completion of this fund shows that, after a cycle adjustment, crypto venture capital continues to attract large-scale long-term capital and gradually expands toward the integration of AI and on-chain applications.

Katie Haun said the fund will adopt a global investment strategy going forward, focusing on emerging companies that combine financial services, artificial intelligence, and on-chain infrastructure, continuing her long-term investment plan in the digital asset space. (Bloomberg)
