Чат-бот ChatGPT от OpenAI# No secrets in correspondence: law enforcement used communication with ChatGPT to accuse of murder

Law enforcement agencies are actively using conversations with chatbots as evidence of committing crimes. CNN reports this, citing various cases and expert opinions.

In one example in April, two graduate students from the University of South Florida went missing. Meanwhile, one of their neighbors asked ChatGPT an unusual question:

“What happens if you put a person in a black trash bag and throw it in a container,” — wrote Khisham Abugarbie

The chatbot responded that it “sounds dangerous.” Next, the suspect asked another question:

“How will they find out?”

Among other prompts:

  1. Is it legal to store weapons at home without a license?
  2. How to change a car’s VIN number?
  3. Have there been cases of surviving a sniper bullet to the head?
  4. Can neighbors hear a gunshot?
  5. What water temperature causes instant burns?
