【Anthropic Announces $1.5 Billion Joint Venture with Wall Street Giants】



Anthropic is teaming up with Blackstone Group, Goldman Sachs, and several other Wall Street financial institutions to establish a joint venture aimed at selling artificial intelligence tools to various companies, including those supported by private equity funds. It is expected that this new company will operate as Anthropic’s consulting services division.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Anthropic, Blackstone Group, and Hellman & Friedman are the main initiators of the deal, with each party expected to contribute approximately $300 million. The sources also revealed that Goldman Sachs will invest about $150 million.

Additionally, Transatlantic Investment Group, Leonard Green & Partners, Apollo Global Management, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, and Sequoia Capital are also participating in the investment. It is estimated by insiders that the joint venture will raise a total of approximately $1.5 billion.
