Midnight browsing on-chain data until my eyes hurt, even though during the day I was still arguing in the group chat "unrealized losses don't count as losses," but as soon as I lie down, my mind starts automatically reviewing: should I cut my losses, is it time to reduce leverage, should I have kept some buffer in that initial proposal budget... When it's unrealized gains, I feel light and breezy, like I found money, and I can even tell myself before sleep "as long as I haven't sold, it's not a profit." Unrealized losses are different; basically, they’re like an open faucet, constantly dripping and reminding you "you're losing," even if you haven't actually lost money yet. Recently, with extreme funding rates, the group is arguing whether to reverse or keep pumping the bubble, but I’ve already reduced my position a bit to get my sleep back, after all, being a bad guy isn’t something new.
