These days, I’ve also seen people watching on-chain large transfers and hot/cold wallet movements on exchanges, insisting on interpreting it as "smart money is about to move." I used to get nervous about it too, but I’ve since unfollowed that kind of information stream: not because it’s useless, but because it’s too easy to get emotions pulled along.

What I’m actually more afraid of are places like cross-chain bridges that seem to run smoothly. Multi-signature, to put it simply, is just a few people pressing confirm together; if the number of signers isn’t enough, it’s only psychological reassurance that it’s safe. Oracles are more like “data feeders,” and if the data is skewed, the bridge will follow suit. Now, I deliberately leave myself a “wait for confirmation” period when doing cross-chain transfers—don’t act immediately after seeing the deposit notification… being a bit slow might just shift the risk away from myself. Anyway, I’d rather miss out on a little than gamble on “nothing going wrong.”
