Zelensky: Ukraine and the EU agree to accelerate the implementation of the drone cooperation agreement

On May 4th, local time, Ukrainian President Zelensky posted on social media revealing that he held an important meeting with European Commission President von der Leyen on that day to discuss EU aid to Ukraine and security cooperation in the drone sector.
Both sides agreed to accelerate the signing of a “drone agreement” between Ukraine and the EU and to discuss specific details and implementation rules for related security cooperation.
Zelensky stated that Ukraine will improve the supporting infrastructure for security cooperation and has assigned relevant tasks to the Ukrainian military’s Chief of General Staff, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, and the diplomatic team of the Presidential Office to implement the consensus reached during this meeting and promote the practical implementation of related cooperation.
